Description
Campers conquer the concept of division in multiple modes: in real-life situations, with physical objects, through drawings, and by talking about it. All contribute to understanding when division is presented using traditional symbols. Campers develop their skill with long and short division and learn shortcuts that enable them to recognize when a number can be divided evenly by single-digit divisors. Campers also work on the Roots level of the proprietary MathTreeŽ skill system that customizes their math pursuit. For a more detailed description, click here.

To be sure your child is ready for Divide and Conquer, please consider the following statements:

My child knows multiplication facts from 2 x 2 through 9 x 9 well.
My child is ready to learn division or needs more help with division.

Both should be true.

$400 is the MathTree portion of the camp fee. However, campers must attend full day at Burgundy Farm. The full day fee is $750.
For rising 4th graders or equivalent. Campers must have fluent knowledge of the multiplication facts.
