"Spencer had a wonderful experience, so much so that she is rocking it in math so far this year!! Yea! The program really helped with Spencer's confidence...we knew she could do it, she just didn't believe in herself. Now she does!"

You have the right equation and solution. Small enough groups for effective learning, strong teachers, and great material.

Both my daughters went to the camp. They have really great intuition and really deep understanding in math -- I think your camp and approach was instrumental in achieving this!.

Our daughter is doing very well at your math camp. The other day she actually said that she was glad she was doing multiplication now because, ‘It is fun.’ Really!
“She occasionally uses some of the ‘tricks,’ – like the nine fingers trick and thumbs up — mostly to double check her work.

Dear Lynn,
I have to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. After working with Calvin all year on multiplication side by side with his 3rd grade teacher, struggling through the summer math homework from school, and knowing how much of a difficult time Calvin has had mastering his times tables, I must say I was dreading these last two weeks of summer at the MathTree Camp. I had hoped that MathTree would help but I never guessed to what extent!
Today was Calvin's last day and Peter gave him his final test. Calvin got 35 out of 36 correct! In less than two weeks! Actually 7 days to be exact. MathTree improved on his beginning score of 15 out of 36!! More than anything, Calvin enjoyed the camp and is not afraid of going to his first math camp on Monday.
What can I say, I will spread the word to every mom I know who's child is struggling with math. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Amol is certainly more confident in math this year so far and seems to be having fun with it, too. He also speaks fondly about the MathTree camp. So whatever both of you did seems to have worked!
P.S. Amol took Geometry (whole year's curriculum) last summer so that he could advance to Algebra 2 in his sophomore year. He did well in Geometry and is also doing well in Algebra 2 (high Bs) this year. This is a far cry from when he was struggling in Math in Elementary school. So the boost he received in the successive Math Tree camps has had a lasting effect.

I just wanted to share with you that Joel is finding math to be ‘a breeze’ this year. He placed at the level he ended last year (one full year behind), but is now at the top of his camp (rather than the bottom!).
Last year, math was a daily frustration. This year it is becoming almost enjoyable, and he's really understanding the concepts. This is truly amazing and I attribute his success to his work in your program.

I came into contact with Lynn Salvo at a MathTree camp that my daughter went to this summer. My daughter does not particularly like math and did not want to go, but I convinced her, and I must say that she loved it!
Lynn teaches some of the camps, and she has picked out and trained some of the most fantastic young teachers for other camps. They know how to teach math in a non-stressful way that makes kids feel very comfortable.
I cannot say enough about Lynn Salvo, her incredible patience as a teacher, and the program that she has designed. My daughter finally feels confident about her abilities in math.

I wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the results of Angelica’s participation in your MathTree camp. Her whole attitude to math has changed: we’ve gone from tears and screaming to smiles and self-confidence.
I will continue to recommend the program to my friends with school age children. Angelica will be with you again next summer.

MathTree Camp offered a wonderful math review for my child and then proceeded to present new math concepts and alternate ways of solving math problems. Due to this great math session my child did very well on the fall math placement test given in sixth grade. My child skipped sixth grade math and was placed in seventh grade math!
P.S. “John received A's and B's in advanced seventh grade math this year.
